Mauldin Cultural Center calls on local businesses for annual Friday Night Frights trick-or-treat event

Local businesses and organizations looking to connect with area families this Halloween season are invited to set up shop at the Mauldin Cultural Center’s annual Friday Night Frights community celebration.
Scheduled for Friday, October 23, 2026, the family-friendly evening combines a large-scale community trick-or-treating route with an outdoor movie screening at the Mauldin Outdoor Amphitheater, located at 101 E. Butler Road.
A spooky community tradition
The centerpiece of the evening, the community trick-or-treating session, runs from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Area businesses, non-profits, and civic groups are encouraged to reserve a booth space, deck out a 10×10 decorated tent in seasonal themes, wear costumes, and hand out candy to hundreds of local children and families.
Participation is free for businesses, offering a high-visibility platform to engage directly with residents across Mauldin and the wider Golden Strip.
Following the candy crawl, the festivities transition into an open-air cinema night at 7:30 PM, featuring a free screening of the Pixar family favorite Monsters, Inc. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and lingering sweet-tooth cravings for an evening under the stars.
How businesses can participate
Vendor registration is now open for companies and community partners ready to claim a booth. Participating businesses are responsible for bringing their own tent, festive decorations, costumes, and plenty of candy to share with attendees.
Spots are limited and allocated on a first-come basis. Interested businesses can register online through the Mauldin Cultural Center’s official application form.
