Mauldin Theatre Company to Present Outdoor Production of ‘Rock of Ages’ This October

Live theater under the stars is heading to Mauldin this fall as the Mauldin Theatre Company prepares to stage a full-scale production of the hit jukebox musical Rock of Ages, presented by Prisma Health.
The three-night event will take place October 2–4, 2026, beginning at 7:00 PM each evening at the Mauldin Cultural Center Amphitheater.
Marking a major milestone for the venue, this production represents the first time the company is mounting the musical as its own standalone outdoor event at the amphitheater.
“LIVE. LOUD. UNDER THE LIGHTS. This October, Mauldin Theatre Company is taking over the amphitheater with ROCK OF AGES… for three nights of big hair, bigger anthems, and nothing but rock ‘n’ roll!” the Mauldin Cultural Center announced.
’80s Anthems, Food Trucks, and Vintage Shopping
Featuring a local cast accompanied by a live band, the high-energy production will highlight iconic 1980s classic rock anthems from artists including Journey, Bon Jovi, Foreigner, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, and Poison.
To complement the performances, organizers are creating an all-evening festival experience. Attendees can arrive early to explore a curated vintage market, with local food trucks on site each night serving refreshments before showtime.

Admission to all three performances is free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served seating basis. Organizers encourage theatergoers to bring lawn chairs or blankets and arrive early to enjoy the food trucks, shop the vintage market, and claim a spot on the lawn.
