Mayor’s Walk Against Domestic Violence cancelled

October 7, 2015

Participants encouraged to volunteer in purple

In light of the major recovery effort underway due to the October 2015 Flood, the Mayor’s Walk Against Domestic Violence has been cancelled. Instead of walking on Saturday morning, October 10th, Mayor Steve Benjamin and Councilwoman Tameika Isaac Devine encourages anyone who was planning to walk, to put on their purple gear and take steps in their local neighborhoods to assist with the cleanup and volunteer efforts.
