Mayor Benjamin attends official signing of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act at the White House today

Columbia Mayor Steve Benjamin has accepted an invitation to attend the signing of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, which will take place at the White House TODAY, November 15 at 3:00 pm.

The bill, which was passed by a bipartisan U.S. Senate vote in August and a bipartisan vote by the U.S. House of Representatives on Friday, November 5, provides about $550 billion in new funding for transportation, utilities and broadband, as well as investing $110 billion into roads, bridges and other major projects, $66 billion toward passenger and freight rail and $39 billion into public transit.
