Mayor Benjamin to meet with Ambassadors to Taiwan on March 9

Columbia Mayor Steve Benjamin will meet with representatives from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office (TECRO) to the United States at noon on March 9.
“I’m looking forward to meeting with representatives from TECRO,” said Mayor Benjamin. “Our relationship with our friends in Taiwan has been very fruitful and productive for both Columbia and Taiwan.”
Mayor Benjamin will meet with Representative Stanley Kao and Mrs. Kao, Mr Kao’s secretary, Deputy Director General Robert Duan and Deputy Director Jerry Chang.
Mr. Kao currently serves as the representative of (TECRO), having previously served as head of the Taipei Representative Office in Italy since 2013. He also served as director-general of the Department of International Cooperation and Economic Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Taipei.
