Mayor Daniel Rickenmann launches re-election campaign for Mayor of Columbia

Mayor Daniel Rickenmann officially launches his campaign for re-election, reaffirming his commitment to strengthening Columbia’s neighborhoods, expanding economic opportunities, and ensuring a safe, vibrant future for all residents.

A respected business owner, community leader, and current Mayor of Columbia, Rickenmann is known for his hands-on leadership and results-driven approach. His administration has prioritized public safety, infrastructure investment, and economic development — all while focusing on responsive government and fiscal responsibility.

“Our city has made great strides, but we’re not done yet,” said Rickenmann. “I’m running for re-election to continue building a Columbia that works for everyone — where opportunity, safety, and community thrive together.”
