At the 2019 National League of Cities City Summit, which was held last week in San Antonio, Texas, Mayor Pro Tem Tameika Isaac Devine was elected to serve a 2-year term on the Board of Directors for the organization. She was also re-elected to serve as a member of the Board for Women in Municipal Government (WIMG) and the National Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials (NBCLEO).

City Summit is the opportunity for all local officials—elected and staff—to learn about the issues affecting local governments and expand their professional network. The conference provides education for leadership development, meaningful discussions on common local-level problems and new best practices to address the trends affecting cities.
