MBM Partner, Stanley Myers, named to hospital board

March 22, 2023

Moore Bradley Myers  (MBM) announced that Moore Bradley Myers Partner, Stanley Myers, has been selected to serve on the Board of Directors for Lexington Medical Center.

It was only two years ago that Myers was commissioned as an Infantry Officer and then appointed as a Judge Advocate General. As a judge, he serves many roles in the Military, including presiding over trials, interpreting military law, assessing the presentation of presenting evidence and controlling hearings and trials in the courtroom.

As a Citadel alumnus, and 4-year starting quarterback for the Bulldogs, Myers was also named to the Citadel Board of Visitors. Known as a tough criminal attorney, Myers also has a soft spot for giving back to his hometown of Swansea, S, and surrounding Lexington County. He is the founder of the Swansea Mentoring Program and sponsors the town’s Bike Bonanza every Christmas. Recently, Myers opened Countryside BBQ Restaurant in Swansea.

“Giving back is important to me. It is the foundation of where I was raised and the legacy I hope people remember one day. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve with other local leaders as a Board member for our local hospital and healthcare provider for so many in the Midlands: Lexington Medical Center,” stated Myers when asked about his selection as a new LMC Board Member.
