McCrae becomes newest partner at Morton & Gettys

ROCK HILL, SC – J. Richards McCrae III, a native of Fort Mill who joined Morton & Gettys nearly six years ago, has become the firm’s newest partner.
McCrae is an experienced litigator who focuses his practice on personal injury. He’s represented clients in wrongful death suits and in cases stemming from trucking accidents.
“Richards is a talented attorney who combines legal knowledge with compassion,” Morton & Gettys co-founder John Gettys said. “Both skills are crucial when you’re representing people and families who have gone through tragedies. We are fortunate to have him with our firm, and we are proud to now call him a partner.”
McCrae came to Morton & Gettys in 2009 after four years at a Columbia firm. He’s a graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law.
McCrae is active in issues locally and statewide. He’s currently on the board of governors of the South Carolina Association for Justice.
