McDonnell and Associates, PA South Carolina managing attorney promoted to compliance counsel

COLUMBIA, SC – Jonathan Howell received his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina in 2005. After graduating, he began his career as a real estate attorney with McDonnell and Associates, PA.
He has since supervised the closings of thousands of real estate transactions and now serves as Compliance Counsel for the firm, recruiting, training, and supervising attorneys. Jonathan is responsible for updating and maintaining the firm’s policy as it relates to various state and national guidelines, and has developed McDonnell and Associates’ training material for the CFPB TILA-RESPA Integrated Mortgage Disclosure Rule.
Jonathan regularly conducts real estate classes and seminars for individuals within the law firm, as well as real estate professionals throughout the Midlands. He is a certified state instructor and is a licensed real estate broker.
Jonathan is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, Richland County Bar Association, and the Building Industry Association of Central South Carolina.
