McGowan Appointed to SCBA Credit Committee

WALHALLA, SC – Blue Ridge Bank’s Eva McGowan has been appointed by David M. Lominack, Chairman of the South Carolina Bankers Association (SCBA), to serve a two-year term on the Association’s Credit Committee.

The Credit Committee remains abreast of developments, legislation and regulations affecting consumer and commercial lending and makes this information available to SCBA members.

A native of Homestead, Florida, Eva joined the Blue Ridge Bank Operations team in April 1981. During her employment she has served as Assistant Head Bookkeeper, Head Bookkeeper, Assistant Cashier, Assistant Vice President, and is now a part of the bank’s Management Team as one of its Vice Presidents and the Compliance Officer.

The South Carolina Bankers Association is the professional trade association organized to effectively represent the common interest and welfare of the banking industry in South Carolina, and to promote the professional development of its members and individual practitioners.
