McGowan’s Career Goes Through the ‘Dores

Jayden McGowan, a state-champion sprinter and versatile star of Laurens Raider football, signed with Vanderbilt of the Southeastern Conference last week at LDHS.
McGowan, primarily known as a receiver but a jack of all trades, was attracted to the Nashville school for its academics. He hopes to become an ophthalmologist. He signed early so that he can enroll at Vandy in January. His 1st football season as a Commodore will be next fall.
