Paralegal Heather Vardell named First Vice President of Education for Palmetto Paralegal Association
COLUMBIA, SC – McKay, Cauthen, Settana, & Stubley, P.A. recognized Heather Vardell as the new First Vice President of Education for the Palmetto Paralegals Association.
As the First VP of Education, Heather will attend all Executive Board meetings as a voting member and serve as chairperson of the Education Committee, which duties include planning seminars, workshops and other programs. She holds the authority to sign and execute notes, drafts or other orders for payment of money, and will preside and assume all duties assigned to the President in the President’s absence.
Heather Vardell has been a Paralegal for the McKay Firm since 2013. Prior to her position as a Paralegal, Heather graduated from Clemson University in 2004 and received a B.A. in Political Science.
Of her achievement, Heather stated “I am excited to work with the Palmetto Paralegals Association to help educate our members and further our mission throughout the Midlands.”
The Palmetto Paralegal Association was established in 1988 to promote professional development through continuing legal education and to enhance the recognition of the paralegal profession within the legal community. PPA is the founding member of the South Carolina Alliance of Paralegal Associations.
