HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC – McNair Law Firm announced the addition of shareholder Jonathan Taber to the firm’s Hilton Head Island office. Jon joins McNair from New York firm Phillips Lytle, where he served as leader of its Corporate Practice Group. Jon has represented a variety of clients around the globe, counseling in the areas of corporate and commercial law, with an emphasis on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate and general business matters.

Jon received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University, where he graduated first in class, was named a Merrill Presidential Scholar and received the Cyril Crowe Prize for outstanding academic achievement. In addition to receiving his law degree from Cornell Law School, he also attended Oxford University in the United Kingdom and completed Harvard Law School’s esteemed Leadership in Law Firms program.
