McNair’s Andrew Saleeby accepted to Leadership Columbia Class of 2017

McNair Law Firm announced attorney Andrew W. Saleeby has been selected as a member of the Leadership Columbia Class of 2017.

Founded by the Columbia Chamber, Leadership Columbia aims to identify and motivate emerging and existing leaders who share the desire and potential to move Columbia forward. Candidates from a variety of institutions are chosen based on community involvement, capacity for leadership, commitment to improving the Midlands, and an interest in enhancing their capabilities. Andrew will be in Leadership Columbia’s 44th graduating class.

I’ve been a stakeholder in Columbia’s future for most of my life, and I am excited to spend the next year working with other like-minded individuals to learn about the challenges we face, and the opportunities we can utilize to keep the momentum going!”

Andrew counsels clients in the areas of tax planning, compliance, and controversy, as well as economic development, business formation, and general corporate matters. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) with a Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University School of Law, and a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. Andrew is a native of the Midlands, and is actively involved in the community, serving in leadership roles for The Babcock Center, Columbia Opportunity Resource (COR), What’s Next Midlands!, United Way of the Midlands Young Leaders Society (YLS), and the South Carolina Bar’s Tax Law Section.
