Meaghan Popper and Tim Walter Promoted at Carolina One

CHARLESTON, SC – Carolina One Real Estate Services has announced that Meaghan Popper and Tim Walter have accepted new management positions within the company. Popper has been named General Sales Manager overseeing sales for the 11 office brokerage replacing Jim Reese who will continue to work with the company in the areas of Agent Training and Development. Walter will step into the position of Broker-in-Charge of Carolina One’s Mt. Pleasant North office, the position formerly held by Popper.
Meaghan Popper, a graduate of the University of Colorado, has been employed by Carolina One since 2005. Over the past 6 years, Meaghan successfully led and managed the Mt. Pleasant North office to be the number 2 office (out of 700 MLS offices) in the Metro Charleston area. Despite a challenging market, she coached and developed her agents to significantly grow their business and recruited 55 agents new to the business or from other real estate companies.
Meaghan resides in Mt. Pleasant with her husband Jeff, a Carolina One Sales Associate in the Coleman Blvd. office, and their two sons Jackson and Peyton.
Tim Walter has been associated with real estate and property management for the past 25 years. A graduate of Wofford College with a degree in Economics, Tim is no stranger to successful office management having served as Director of Commercial Office Property Management for two major local brokerages.
In the community, Tim Walter is active on two advisory boards of the MUSC Hollings Cancer Center. Tim resides in Mt. Pleasant with his two sons, Cooper and Price.
Jim Reese, a native of Mahan, West Virginia is a 23 year veteran Master Chief with the US Submarine Service.
Jim obtained his real estate license in 1978 and has been in leadership and training positions since 1990. In 2000 Jim was named General Manager of Carolina One Real Estate, the largest real estate company in SC. Over the last 15 years, Jim Reese’s focus has been on teaching, coaching and motivating both managers and sales associates.
Jim is married to Henri Reese, an agent in Carolina One’s Crowfield Blvd. office and they live in Goose Creek. Jim and Henri have two sons and six grandchildren.
