Meghan Hickman named COO and Partner of Sagacious Partners

COLUMBIA, SC – Columbia-based executive coaching and consulting firm Sagacious Partners has named Meghan Hickman Chief Operating Officer and Partner.

In her role with the company, Hickman oversees project management work helping communities and organizations grow. Through her role at Sagacious Partners, Hickman serves as Executive Director of EngenuitySC, a Midlands nonprofit focused on enhancing the region’s competitiveness and prosperity.

Sagacious Partners has deep expertise in project management, economic development, and executive coaching. Hickman oversees the project management and economic development practice, while McLean drives the executive coaching practice with Vistage peer advisory and Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) services.
Hickman joined Sagacious Partners in 2012 with over seven years of experience in community relations and public affairs management in both South Carolina and Washington, DC. Prior to returning to Columbia, Meghan spent nearly six years working for a United States Senator. Following that, she entered the private sector with Stratacomm and managed national public relations campaigns for clients ranging from federal government agencies to large coalitions and associations.
Hickman currently serves as a Board Member of the Girl Scouts of South Carolina-Mountains to Midlands chapter and the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce; serves as a Richland School District Two R2i2 Advisory Board Member and Superintendent’s Business Advisory Council Member; and participates in various other volunteering and philanthropic activities in the region.
