Beloved Bakery Will Now Be Under The Methodical Coffee Brand

Methodical Coffee, local coffee roasters and owners of three nationally known Greenville, South Carolina coffee shop locations, announced today that they have acquired Bake Room bakery from owner Wade Taylor.

“We are long-time friends with Wade, and we have a deep respect for his talent as a skilled baker, and what he has built in Greenville over the years,” said Marco Suarez, co-owner of Methodical Coffee. “We’ll be working with Wade during the transition over the next few weeks to ensure our team is well-trained,” Suarez added.

The recipes and techniques of the Bake Room will continue on, starting with their popular offerings of croissants, morning buns, baguettes and sour dough breads available under the Methodical Coffee brand. The bakery items will be available at both The Commons Methodical Coffee location at 147 Welborn Street, and the existing Bake Room counter next door. The Bake Room counter will also offer Methodical’s drip coffee.

Methodical Coffee’s two other Greenville locations will also offer the Bake Room goods, including the Stone’s Point location at 207 Wade Hampton Blvd. and the downtown location at 101 North Main Street.

Methodical is currently interviewing bakers to add to their staff.
