Michael Oana Retirement Planning Specialist welcomed Chris Burnette to the team as an experienced Financial Advisor.
Chris is a graduate of the University of South Carolina. He has worked as a national sales trainer and as a non-profit executive, in addition to working as a financial advisor for over sixteen years.
Chris holds the Series 7, 63 and 65 Registrations along with a life and health insurance license in SC and is registered in other states. Passionate in helping others navigate their retirement planning, Chris is available to speak publicly about investing and preparing for retirement.
An Eagle Scout, Chris is an active Scouter and the recipient of the Indian Waters Council BSA’s highest volunteer award, the Silver Beaver. He is a 2007 graduate of Leadership Columbia. As an active community volunteer, he has served on numerous executive and advisory boards including the SC Contemporary Dance Company, McKissick Museum, SC Epilepsy Foundation, Capital City Club and Homeworks of America. He is a past president of the Columbia Sertoma Club and the Columbia Junior Chamber of Commerce.
A native of Asheville, NC, Chris is married to a music teacher, Rebecca, and they have six wonderful children. Chris enjoys cultural activities, the outdoors, and he has visited 47 states.
