Michelin volunteers renovate nature trail with RBES students

December 15, 2016

Local volunteers recently answered the call of Red Bank Elementary School students who wanted to restore a nature trail at their school.

Members of the Michelin Wildlife and Industry Together team arrived armed with shovels, tree trimmers, and garden tools. Alongside RBES students, they cleaned up and renovated the school’s nature trail.

By the end of the project, the students and volunteers had picked up trash, cleared the walking path, cut away roots and trimmed trees to make the trail usable again.

The Michelin volunteers also placed picnic tables, benches, and work tables on the trail.
