Midlands Entrepreneurs to Share Secrets of Success – Lou Kennedy, Vanessa Mota, and Carolyn Sawyer headline “Wonder Women Wednesday” in honor of Women’s History Month

The Midlands Technical College Entrepreneurship Club is inviting students, aspiring entrepreneurs, journalists, business leaders and friends of MTC to “Wonder Women Wednesday.” Lou Kennedy, Vanessa Mota, and Carolyn Sawyer will discuss how they became three of the most successful businesswomen in our area. The free, lunch-hour Zoom event is part of the college’s School of Business Week celebrations.

Lou Kennedy is President, CEO and Owner of Nephron Pharmaceuticals Corporation – a certified woman-owned business. She has held a variety of marketing and operational roles at Nephron and created the Nephron national sales force.

Vanessa Mota is CEO of Mota Enterprises, LLC. She is USA President of the International Chamber of Entrepreneurs and recently she launched Mota Crosslinking Business Academy. The academy connects entrepreneurs in Spanish and English while promoting cultural awareness across ethnicities.

Carolyn Sawyer is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Tom Sawyer Company. TSC is a multi-million dollar communications firm offering full service call center operations, strategic instructional training, coaching and public outreach.
