Additionally, the Foundation re-elected two Board members to their second terms (2021-2024). Vaughn Reynolds is a Wealth Management and Market Executive for Merrill Lynch and Chris Stormer is a Certified Public Accountant with Bauknight, Pietras & Stormer.

“Our board members provide us with valuable resources,” said Dr. Ronald Rhames, MTC President. “Their connections, ideas, and financial support are integral in our mission to provide South Carolina with well-trained graduates who are ready to fill in-demand jobs or go on to thrive at other colleges and universities.”

“We are proud to welcome Eddie to the Foundation Board, and to benefit from the continuing service of Vaughn and Chris. These community members are key in continuing the great work of the MTC Foundation,” said Nancy McKinney, Associate Vice President for Philanthropy and CEO of the MTC Foundation.

Jim Braun, MTC Foundation Board chair, added, “We are also very grateful for the service of Gwen Hampton and David Woolard who made significant contributions during their board terms that ended in June 2021.”

The Midlands Technical College Foundation is a 501(c)(3) educational and charitable foundation that supports MTC. Donations from community members support scholarships for amazing students; resources for world-class faculty; and funding for leading-edge programs, technology, and ideas.
