Scholarship Applications Open for Two More Weeks
The application for Midlands Technical College Foundation scholarships is open for two more weeks, closing on April 15, 2021. More than 100 scholarships totaling more than $100,000 are available.
Twice each year, the MTC Foundation provides scholarships based on financial need. Funding comes through the generosity of alumni, friends of the college, corporations, and organizations in the community.
“When it became stressful this year during the COVID-19 changes, the assistance I received encouraged me to never give up…encouraged me to keep going, and gave me faith that it will all work out,” said Candice Whitaker, MTC Foundation scholarship recipient.
“As a nontraditional student who is also a husband and father working full-time, going back to school seemed so far out of reach and a financial strain. It is because of scholarships like yours that continued education is possible for someone in my position,” said Jason Jones, MTC Foundation scholarship recipient.
A single application automatically matches new and continuing students to scholarships for which they may be eligible.
