Mike Hallasy of O’Neal Inc. Appointed to S.C. Commercial Building Code Study Committee

GREENVILLE, SC – April 23, 2012 – O’Neal, Inc., a Greenville-basedintegrated design and construction firm, announced that senior architectMike Hallasy was appointed to the South Carolina Commercial Code StudyCommittee.

The 11-member committee is part of the S.C. Building Codes Council,which is a function of the S.C. Department of Labor, Licensing andRegulation. The task of the committee is to review commercial codemodifications proposed by cities and counties throughout the state tothe International Building Code Series and to recommend approval ordisapproval of those modifications to the council.
 
Hallasy’s seat on the committee is reserved for a state licensedarchitect specializing in design of commercial structures. His term willbe approximately three years. Hallasy, who has worked for O’Neal for 15years, is an NCARB-certified, LEED-accredited, licensed architect withmore than 25 years of experience in the planning and design ofcommercial, industrial, government and public facilities.
