Miller-Valentine Group Volunteers at the Boys & Girls Club Ben Arnold Campus

COLUMBIA, SC – September 27, 2012 – Employees with Miller-Valentine Group recently volunteered through the United Way of the Midlands and participated in a deep cleaning of the Boys & Girls Club Ben Arnold campus. The Boys & Girls Club of the Midlands’ mission is to inspire and enable all young people and help them to reamillerlize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

Miller-Valentine associates volunteered at the store on Friday, September 21st and were tasked with cleaning and organizing the various activity rooms, raking the sandboxes and collecting trash around the campus. “Giving back to the community is one of our corporate beliefs and we feel strongly in serving the community where we live and do business every day,” said, Steve Koewler, president of Miller-Valentine Group.

Miller-Valentine has been an active supporter of the United Way and has participated in their fundraising and community service efforts for over twenty years.
