Mission Lexington teams up with Lexington Walmart to “Pack the Pantry”

December 2, 2019

Mission Lexington is excited to collaborate with Walmart of Lexington (5556 Sunset Blvd, Lexington, SC 29072) to collect food and toys for families in need in Lexington County.  This event will take place on Saturday, December 7, 2019, 9am-5pm.

Walmart patrons will be greeted by Mission Lexington staff and volunteers with a list of suggested items to help pack the food pantry that will be located in the Walmart parking lot, where they can bring items after shopping.

“Mission Lexington serves special food and Christmas toy needs during the holidays. It’s the season of giving, and our community always comes through for us. What better way to give back than to a neighbor in need.” said Robin W. Bowers, Executive Director of Mission Lexington.
