Mistletoe Market Showcases Local Artists, Makers and Small Businesses

Downtown Beaufort will get a festive start to the holiday season Nov. 19-22 as the Freedman Arts District hosts Mistletoe Market 2026, a four-day celebration featuring local artists, holiday shopping, live music and seasonal activities.
The event will take place at two downtown locations, beginning Thursday, Nov. 19, with a Holiday Kickoff and Deck the Halls exhibition opening from 4 to 8 p.m. at the King Street Arts Center, 1407 King St.
Visitors can explore the arts center, meet resident artists and view Deck the Halls, a special holiday exhibition showcasing original artwork and the stories behind each piece.
Mistletoe Market will continue Friday and Saturday, Nov. 20-21, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 22, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Tabby Place, 913 Port Republic St.
The holiday market will feature one-of-a-kind artwork, handmade gifts, boutique clothing, jewelry, specialty treats and other locally made products. Shoppers can also enjoy live music, festive beverages and a holiday atmosphere while discovering offerings from local artists, makers, creatives and entrepreneurs.
Organizers say the event is about more than holiday shopping. Proceeds and participation support the Freedman Arts District’s mission to expand arts education and programming, create opportunities for working artists and strengthen the local creative economy.
