Momentum Summer Camp – Thornwell’s Power-Packed Summer Day Camp

School is coming to a close, quickly. For many parents that means lining up some camp opportunities for their kids and Thornwell has a great opportunity in the Momentum Summer Camp.

“The theme this summer is “A Moment(um) in Time. We will take explore science and reading throughout the ages,” said Geneik Brewster, Academic Support Coordinator. “We are extremely excited to get started this summer with tons of activities, making new friends and creating great summer memories.”

Uncover the opportunity for your child to grow academically while having fun and enjoying all it means to create sweet summer memories.

The Camp will be from June 5 – July 28, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm on weekdays (Monday – Friday).

Momentum is for children ages 5 to 12 years and located on the Thornwell campus in Clinton, South Carolina. Each Momentum participant is evaluated at the start of the summer in reading and math, and the professional staff at Thornwell creates a personalized plan for growth that is implemented during the camp.

Thornwell’s Momentum camp provides the environment and support children need to start their next school year stronger than ever and avoid the learning regression that often occurs during the summer months.

In addition to structured academic programming in Reading and Math, Momentum kids will have FUN! Opportunities include gym time, swimming, recreation and ballfields, and numerous activities.
