Moore Beauston & Woodham announces staff addition

Moore Beauston & Woodham L.L.P., a full service accounting and consulting firm with offices in Charleston, Greenville, Hartsville, and West Columbia is pleased to announce an addition to its staff:
Scott Kates joins the firm as a full time Staff Accountant in the Charleston office. Scott will be working in the firm’s Tax and Business Consulting and the Audit and Assurance practice assisting individual and business clients with tax preparation, audits, consulting, financial statements and compilations. Scott has over 17 years of management and internal finance experience in the International Shipping industry. He received his B.S. in Business Administration from Lander University and will receive his M.B.A. in Accounting from Charleston Southern University in May 2017. Scott is a member of the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants, Treasurer and Past President of the Solomon’s Lodge #1 AFM. Scott also served on the Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders Association’s Board of Directors from 2015 through 2017. Scott and his family live in Summerville, SC.
