Moore Bradley Myers Managing Partner, Chris Spradley, named 2022 Leadership in Law Honoree

Moore Bradley Myers (MBM) Managing Partner, Chris Spradley, has been recognized as a Leadership in Law Honoree by SC Lawyers Weekly.

Spradley earned this nomination through his dedication to the legal community, specifically through his involvement with leadership organizations, commitment to exceeding community service, leading the Saluda office, and serving as the attorney for Saluda County and other local governments. Spradley has practiced law for more than 20 years in several areas, including criminal defense, family law, personal injury, and local government.

Spradley is a member of the South Carolina Bar’s House of Delegates, Ethics Advisory Committee, Convention Committee, and was previously a member of the Judicial Screening Committee, the Lexington County Bar, Tri-County Bar, South Carolina Association for Justice and the South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Spradley served as a State Prosecutor for the Eleventh Circuit Solicitor’s Office and was the first prosecutor for the Lexington County Multi-Agency Narcotics Enforcement Team. He was also a former board member for the South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Spradley has completed courses at the National Criminal Defense College and the National Advocacy Center.

He is currently a member of the Saluda Fire Department. He has held nearly every position in the fire service including the chief and has been a guest speaker around the state on firefighting issues including speaking at the South Carolina State Firefighters Association Annual Conference. He has served as a career firefighter with Aiken Public Safety and the Columbia Fire Department but began volunteering on the Batesburg Fire Department at the age of 18. He served as the Fire Chief of the Ridge Spring Fire Department.

He was recently mentioned by the South Carolina Bar as an attorney that was “Raising the Bar” on community service.
