Moore Clinic Welcomes Sports Medicine Specialist Craig M. Burnworth, M.D.

COLUMBIA, SC – November 20, 2007 – Moore Clinic is proud to announce the addition of Craig M. Burnworth, M.D. to the staff. Dr. Burnworth is a board-certified Family Practice physician specializing in Sports Medicine with a focus on the areas of Endurance Athletes, Orthotics and Concussion Management.

A University of North Carolina School of Medicine at Chapel Hill graduate, Dr. Burnworth completed his residency at Palmetto Richland Family Practice in Columbia. He earned his Sports Medicine Fellowship at Moses Cone Family Medicine in Greensboro.

“Dr. Burnworth will greatly enhance our Sports Medicine team as we move forward in 2008. His extensive work with young athletes will enable us to provide more services to our Columbia area high school teams. We already provide team physicians and athletic trainers to 14 schools, but the addition of Dr. Burnworth will enable us to provide on-the-field care to more teams, ” stated Sean McNally, CEO.
