Moore Taylor Announces Robert D. Hazel Transitions to Of Counsel

July 8, 2015

WEST COLUMBIA, SC – Moore Taylor Law Firm announces that Robert D. Hazel, a firm partner, has transitioned into an “Of Counsel” role with the law firm. Moore Taylor is a full-service firm representing individuals, businesses and government agencies across South Carolina since 1971.

Hazel, who has retired from the full-time practice of law, will serve other Moore Taylor attorneys in any of his existing cases and work with any of the firm’s attorneys who wish to associate him on cases. His practice has consisted of estate planning, probate, elder care and law, mediation and business law.

“Bob’s service to this firm and to our clients for years has been unparalleled,” said Ward Bradley, managing partner. “We are grateful that he’s agreed to continue in this of-counsel role as he moves forward from the full time practice of law and we know our clients will continue to find the same service they knew and expected with Bob with the Moore Taylor attorneys who will now take on his cases and continue to work in those practice areas.”

Other Moore Taylor attorneys will take on Hazel’s current caseload. Sarah T. Cassidy, who has an estate planning and probate practice, will take over Hazel’s estate planning and probate cases. John Bradley will take Hazel’s education law cases with Hazel’s assistance, and Will Edwards, a Moore Taylor partner, will assume Hazel’s business law practice, associating with Hazel when appropriate.
