Moore Taylor Law attorney named president of Vista Night Rotary Club

Moore Taylor Law Firm is proud to recognize Will Edwards on his selection as Vista Night Rotary Club president. His term begins July 1.
Part of District 7770, the Vista Night Rotary Club started in 1995 and is the only club to meet in the evenings. Edwards said his priority is growing the membership and participating in one service project a month, which is a continued theme with the club’s literacy focus.
The group has previously supported projects with the Richland Library, including “Here Comes Kindergarten,” book and dictionary drives for Bradley and McColl Elementary Schools and providing Wi-Fi hot spots for families without internet in Richland County during the pandemic.”
“When things started shutting down, our club went into action,” Edwards said. “Richland Library identified the need to help children participate in remote learning, so parents could work from home and our club decided to help fund it. Rotary’s motto is ‘Service Above Self,’ and this group takes that commitment to another level, and I am proud to lead a collection of community-focused, talented and hard-working individuals.”
Edwards graduated summa cum laude from Presbyterian College and cum laude from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He is a member of the American Bar, the South Carolina Bar, the Lexington County Bar Associations, the National Trial Lawyers and the South Carolina Association for Justice. He was awarded the 2012 Pro Bono Award from the Service Members and Veterans in Law and recognition in 2014 from the U.S. Department of the Army for his services.
He was named a Top 40 Under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers and a Rising Star by Super Lawyers. In addition, he has received an AV rating of Preeminent, the highest rating possible by Martindale-Hubbell in both legal ability and ethical standards.
