Morton & Gettys names two new partners: Dan Ballou and Melissa Cassell

Rock Hill law firm Morton & Gettys has named two new partners, Daniel J. Ballou and Melissa G. Cassell, effective Jan. 1.

“Melissa started with our firm as a law clerk while attending USC School of Law,” said John Gettys, a founding partner of the firm. “It was obvious to us all that she would be a fantastic attorney, and we were overjoyed she decided to relocate to Rock Hill and join our firm after graduation. Melissa is one of our great success stories, and our firm will be the better with her as a partner.”

Of Dan Ballou, Gettys said, “To have such a good lawyer, and friend, join our firm a few years ago to establish and build a civil litigation practice has made a world of difference in our ability to meet the needs of the people of Rock Hill. This new practice area for us now boasts four attorneys who strive to protect the interests of our clients.”
