Mount Pleasant Chamber welcomes Elliot J. Seay as new Membership and Engagement Manager
October 5, 2026The Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce (MPCC) announced the hiring of Elliot J. Seay as its new Membership and Engagement Manager. In this role, Seay will lead efforts to foster member relations, strengthen community engagement, and drive strategic growth for the regional business community.
A South Carolina native who now resides in Mount Pleasant, Seay brings a diverse background rooted in business management, marketing, and client services. He holds a degree in Business Management with a minor in Film and Media Studies from the University of South Carolina.

Seay’s professional experience spans hospitality, retail management, and elite club operations nationwide—environments that refined his leadership, team-building, and relationship management capabilities. Most recently, he served as a Multi-Media Account Executive with the Moultrie News and The Post and Courier, collaborating with businesses across the state to design effective marketing and advertising strategies. His background also includes digital marketing consulting, content creation, B2C sales, and management with The Fresh Market.

Now a resident of Mount Pleasant, Seay looks forward to working closely with existing and prospective chamber members to expand engagement programs and support economic vitality throughout the region.
