Mount Pleasant’s largest networking event returns for thirteenth year

The largest networking event in Mount Pleasant — driven by Crews Subaru of Charleston — is set to take place Thursday, September  28, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Omar Shrine Center, in partnership with the Town of Mount Pleasant and for the first time Bank Sponsor, Pinnacle Financial Partners.

The Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce (MPCC) Business and Community Expo is designed to be both fun and educational, with interactive exhibitor booths that offer demonstrations, giveaways and food samples. There will be games, prizes, a food truck, and a Happy Hour from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. As always, admission is FREE. Kicking off the event with a local mascot parade led by Mayor Will Haynie, this event is going to be a good time for businesses and community members alike with Small Business Week being the week prior.

“The Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce our 13th Annual Business and Community Expo, to be held at Omar Shrine Center in Mount Pleasant, SC on Thursday, September 28, 2023,” says Ben Knight, MPCC Board Member and Expo Committee Chair. “We will have 90 vendors inside Omar Shrine Center, as well as outdoor vendor space available for boat dealers, landscape companies, golf cart vendors, etc. In addition, Food Trucks will be positioned in front of Omar Shrine Center for both vendors and attendees to enjoy.”

Knight continues, “With an anticipated 1200 attendees, this will be the place to showcase your products and services as a business owner. Booth spaces are selling fast, and we have a few sponsorships left.”
