MTC’s Suzette Senn selected as president of national organization

Community College Business Officers (CCBO) has elected Suzette Senn, Midlands Technical College Director of Accounting Services, as the organization’s president for the 2016-2017 year.  CCBO is a national organization that is committed to providing educational and professional support, networking opportunities, and timely trend and demographic information for business officers representing community colleges and community college system offices in the US and in Canada.

“It is a tremendous honor to serve as president for such a prestigious organization,” said Sheila Smith, MTC’s Associate Vice President for Business Affairs.  “Suzette is among the finest when it comes to understanding business operations in community colleges.  She will do a fantastic job representing MTC and South Carolina in serving this national organization.

Senn, began her term as president in September 2016, was elected at the 34th CCBO Annual International Conference in Orlando, FL.  A native of Batesburg-Leesville, she has been at Midlands Technical College for 37 years.
