MUSC Health Charleston joins Humana Medicare Advantage network

More people with Medicare now have access to the world-class physicians at MUSC Health, thanks to a new agreement with insurer Humana.

MUSC Health physicians are now included in Humana’s Medicare Advantage plans offered in the Charleston market. This means that people with Humana Medicare Advantage plans will be able to see providers at the hospital that U.S. News & World Report ranks as No. 1 in South Carolina, which includes the well-regarded MUSC Hollings Cancer Center, a National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center. MUSC Health and Humana have an existing agreement that covers Humana’s commercial members.

Humana, a leading health and well-being company, has a strong and growing commitment to South Carolina, serving 431,000 members in the state, including 178,500 Medicare members.
