Myrtle Beach Southern Living Showcase Home is Just a Short Drive Away

September 17, 2012

MYRTLE BEACH, SC – September 17, 2012 – Myrtle Beach’s first Southern Living Showcase Home is now open for tours and is well worth the drive. The home, built by Classic of Myrtle Beach, offers the latest in building and design products and, like all of the homes built by Classic, leaves a lasting impression on its guests.

Visitors are greeted by an elegant iron-forged door that opens into a great room that’s warm and inviting; a room that’s equal parts grand and gracious; where old-world flavor meets new-world technology and impressive attention to detail captures the essence of gracious European living.

This house is defined by luxury: a den with beautiful oak floors hand-hewn in South Carolina, a guest bedroom of soft neutral colors and refined furnishings and a nursery illuminated by a crystal chandelier accenting an elegantly wallpapered ceiling….and that’s just the interior of the home.

When visitors think it just can’t get any better, they step outside to a large covered lanai with built-in natural gas fireplace and outdoor kitchen.  This open-air oasis is accented by a screen-enclosed pool and a wood burning fire pit.  It is truly the perfect ending to a long day, and the perfect complement to the Grand Strand’s temperate climate.

Within the Verona, visitors are finding a variety of intriguing interpretations drawing inspiration from sources near and far, including the creative expression of designers, Susan White of Classic Interiors, Chris Richardson of The Kangaroo Pouch and Dianne Ray of Garden City Furniture.

Over 40 local trade sponsors and vendors have come together to create a home where warm hues, rich patterns and a global collection of furnishings create a design that is a beautiful reflection of the home itself, a home that is the true epitome of Southern Living.
