NAI Avant Facilitates Two Office Leases in Newly Redeveloped Cigar Factory, Charleston, SC

CHARLESTON, SC – David Ingle, Senior Broker, and David Grubbs, Managing Principal and Broker-in-Charge, both with NAI Avant’s Charleston office, recently facilitated office leases in the Cigar Factory building located at the corner of East Bay and Columbus Streets in downtown Charleston, SC. Construction on the iconic building is nearly complete and the authentic, mixed-use redevelopment project will offer sweeping views of the harbor, port and city skyline and include substantial on-site parking and green space.

The expansion adds an additional ±7,245 square feet to their current ±25,102 square feet of office space. The space will serve as the headquarters for the Charleston-based Southern lifestyle magazine.

David Grubbs represented the tenant, ServisFirst Bank, in the leasing of office and bank branch space in the building. The ServisFirst branch will be located in Suite 104 of the building, consisting of ±3,262 square feet. The bank will also occupy ±5,112 square feet of office space in Suite 503, Suite 505 and Suite 507 of the building. The historic space will serve as the Alabama bank’s first South Carolina branch.
