NAI Avant finds new operations center for Hengshi USA

NAI Avant senior broker Nick Stomski, SIOR recently represented Hengshi USA Wind Power Materials Corp, in the acquisition of a ±112,000 square foot manufacturing facility located at 1440 Atlas Road in Columbia.
Founded in 2000, Hengshi has become a global leader in the wind power base material manufacturing industry, exporting the highest volume of products in the industry. The company’s new facility is expected to bring $11.1 million in capital investment and lead to the creation of 48 jobs.
China Hengshi specializes in the research, development, production and marketing of a variety of fiber-weaving products for export around the world. Primarily used in wind turbine blades, the company’s products are also utilized in space flight, aviation, construction, transportation, environmental protection and more.
Their location on Atlas Road is expected to be up and running by the end of 2017. Their team will be responsible for converting e-glass into a technical fiberglass fabric, using state-of-the-art multi-axial machines.
