NAI Avant Names President and Chief Operating Officer

COLUMBIA, SC – November 8, 2007 – NAI Avant is pleased to announce the promotion of Todd Avant as President of the firm and Gene Green as the company’s Chief Operating Officer.

According to Dan Avant, NAI Avant Chairman and CEO, “This announcement more accurately reflects the roles Todd and Gene have been fulfilling for some time now. Under their leadership, 2006 was our best year in decades and 2007 will prove to be another exceptional year for us.”

Todd Avant earned a degree in Business Economics from Wofford College. He holds the CCIM designation from the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute and is a Life Member of the Greater Columbia Association of Realtors Circle of Excellence. Todd was recognized by The State newspaper as a “20 Under 40” award recipient for 2005. Todd along with Dan Avant received the March of Dimes Award in 2005. He is involved in a leadership position in a number of business and civic organizations.

Gene Green has been active in commercial real estate since 1971. Prior to joining the company in 1989, his experience included private-sector real estate research and consultation and marketing and analysis of major commercial and resort developments. He earned a B.A. Degree from The George Washington University and a M.A. from the University of South Carolina.
