Palmer, Balboni team retain the listing for the remaining acreage for future development.
NAI Columbia’s Patrick Palmer, CCIM, and Bobby Balboni represented the seller, Hampton Automotive, Inc. in the $3.22 million sale of an 8.2-acre site for the redevelopment of a portion of the former Hampton Pontiac-Buick-GMC-Jaguar Dealership located at 3700 Fernandina Road in Columbia, South Carolina. The purchaser, Hendon Properties, LLC will develop the site for a future Floor & Decor store. It will be the first location in the Midlands and second in the state for the publicly traded specialty retailer of hard surface flooring.

The site fronts on Fernandina Road with excellent visibility from I-26 and near the Harbison retail trade area. The seller will retain 5.4 acres from the former dealership, which will benefit immensely from cross access with Floor & Decor. Additional site work will be provided by Hendon Properties, LLC. NAI Columbia will assist the seller in marketing the residual site that is primed for future development.
