NAI Earle Furman Welcomes Seven New Team Members

GREENVILLE, SC – NAI Earle Furman (NAIEF), a leading full-service commercial real estate firm headquartered in Greenville, recently welcomed seven new team members. Taylor Allen, Bernie Bastian, Bern Dupree and Ross Kester joined the brokerage team. New additions to the property management team include Brent Atwood and Austin Thompson, and Melanie Wilson joined as the newest staff member.

Brokerage:

Taylor Allen joins NAIEF’s office division, specializing in the sales and leasing of properties in the Upstate of South Carolina. Allen began his affiliation with NAIEF last summer as an intern before entering his senior year at Clemson. While finishing his degree in Business Management, Allen had the opportunity to work with Clemson’s student living communities and assist in the leasing process.

Bernie Bastian’s brokerage services are focused on retail sales and residential development tracts in Anderson, Greenville and Spartanburg counties, and he will be located in the Anderson office. Bastian joins NAIEF with more than 32 years of experience in commercial real estate and was most recently president of Tidewater Development and Investment, Inc. in Charleston, South Carolina.

Bern DuPree specializes in multifamily and investment brokerage. Prior to joining NAIEF, DuPree was vice president of Vista Capital Management Group, a full-service property management company specializing in multifamily management throughout the Southeast and mid-Atlantic regions. He graduated from Wofford College with a B.A. in Business Economics and has a number of professional designations including CPM.

Ross Kester joins NAIEF’s investment services, healthcare and office divisions. Kester is a Class of 2000 graduate of Washington and Lee University with a degree in Business Administration and Accounting. With more than a decade of high-end real estate experience, Kester was responsible for over $100 million in real estate transactions as a top sales producer, and later as the Broker-in-Charge, for the Cliffs Communities Lake Keowee region.

Property Management:

Brent Atwood joins NAIEF as a property manager with experience in previously managing over 3.5 million square feet of residential and primarily commercial properties. Atwood is a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Marketing and a concentration in Real Estate.

Austin Thompson joins NAIEF as an assistant property manager and provides management support for a portfolio including retail, industrial and office properties, while also working to create strong, positive relationships between NAIEF, owners and tenants. Thompson graduated from Anderson University with a degree in Business Administration.

Staff:

Melanie Wilson joins NAIEF as a staff member and will be located in the Anderson office. Previously, Wilson enjoyed a successful career of more than 20 years in residential real estate and covering all facets of the business. As a sales planning manager, she played a key role in opening the doors of a brand new brokerage firm in Colorado Springs, Colo. and helped to grow the business from five to more than 30 brokers within six months.
