Nancye Bailey earns Certified Association Executive credential

ASAE has announced that Nancye Bailey, President of NDB Association & Event Management, has earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE®) designation. The CAE is the highest professional credential in the association industry.

To be certified as a Certified Association Executive, an applicant must have experience with nonprofit organization management, complete a minimum of 100 hours of specialized professional development, pass a stringent examination in association management, and pledge to uphold a code of ethics. To maintain certification, individuals must undertake ongoing professional development and activities in association and nonprofit management. More than 4,500 association professionals hold the CAE credential. The CAE Program is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).

Ms. Bailey graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Public Relations. More than 22 years ago she founded the South Carolina based event management firm, Carolina Event Consultants (CEC) providing professional event planning for a host of local, regional, and national organizations. In 2014, Ms. Bailey added association management to the list of services offered through her company and eventually rebranded CEC to become NDB Association & Event Management (NDBM) which specializes in working with small and medium associations and nonprofit organizations to provide outsourced services including association management and event planning as well as a host of other business services.
