National security experts headline summit in the Midlands

March 13, 2015

WEST COLUMBIA, SC – National security experts – including U.S. Ambassador John Bolton, Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin (former commanding general of U.S. Army Special Forces and Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence), U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum, Dr. Peter Vincent Pry (executive director of the Task Force on National and Homeland Security), Frank Gaffney (pres. of the Center for Security Policy), LA Gov. Bobby Jindal, Lt. Col. (P) Bill Connor, and others – will discuss national defense matters in a public forum, at West Columbia’s Brookland Baptist Banquet and Conference Center, Sat, Mar. 14, 2015.

The event – The S.C. National Security Action Summit 2015 – is hosted by Breitbart News, the Center for Security Policy, and High Frontier.

“This will not only be informative, but it is a vitally important event aimed at educating the public as to the weakening of the physical and cultural integrity of our national defense,” says Lt. Col. (P) Bill Connor, a U.S. Army Reserve infantry officer (Ranger), founding partner of National Defense Consultants, and former senior U.S. military advisor in Helmand Province, Afghanistan. “Voters – through no fault of their own – are far too often ill-informed as to the dangers we are facing globally. We hope to change that with this conference and others like it going forward.”

Topics to be addressed include, America’s electrical power grid and threats to critical infrastructure, border insecurity and illegal immigration, the threat from Sharia and the global jihad movement, and the hollowing out of America’s military.

According to the conference release, “The purpose of this event is to educate local law enforcement, local and state leaders and citizen activists on steps we can take at the state level to protect ourselves on these issues.”

The event begins at 9:00 and – following a series of briefings, panel discussions, and Q&A’s – will conclude at 5:00 p.m.
