Neal becomes newest Morton & Gettys associate

Joe’Terrious Neal, a graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law, is Morton & Gettys’ newest associate. His practice focuses on civil litigation.

Neal joined the firm in August, assisting attorneys with research and drafting motions while he awaited results of the Bar exam. He was sworn in as an attorney today.

During his time in law school, Neal was active in the mock bar program. He served as its chief justice during his third year, when he also won finalist honors in the prestigious Buffalo Niagara Mock Trial Invitational.

He further developed his legal skills by serving as a summer associate with three law firms, drafting motions and memoranda, conducting legal research and helping prepare witnesses for depositions.

Neal earned his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice at the University of South Carolina, graduating magna cum laude.
