Nelson Mullins Elects Holloway, Rustin to Partnership; Lott to Of Counsel in Greenville

GREENVILLE, SC – The partners of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP have elected Greenville attorneys Maurice Holloway and Brad Rustin to the partnership and promoted Chad Lott to of counsel. Mr. Holloway is a former of counsel attorney who joined the Firm in 1995. Mr. Lott and Mr. Rustin are former associates who joined the Firm in 2007 and 2006, respectively.

Mr. Holloway focuses his practice in the areas of corporate and business entity law, taxation, estate planning, and business law. He has experience in the formation of corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies, structuring like-kind exchanges, estate and business succession planning, and mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Rustin focuses his practice in the areas of consumer financial services litigation, state and federal financial regulation, and non-traditional financial products. He represents corporate clients and individuals in financial, regulatory and contractual matters. He also represents parties in litigation involving financial disputes; financial regulatory compliance and litigation; commercial and special asset litigation, foreclosure, and receivership; and represents creditors in bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings.

Mr. Lott focuses his practice on corporate governance, securities, bank regulatory, mergers and acquisitions, and executive compensation matters, with an emphasis on community banks and established private companies headquartered in South Carolina. He represents financial institutions and their holding companies during the organizational, capital raising, and business combination processes. He also advises these entities on both bank regulatory issues and public reporting obligations.
