Nephron Nitrile hosts National Manufacturing Day

National Associational of Manufacturers, The Manufacturing Institute, Nephron Hosting Creators Wanted For Second Straight Year

Last Friday, October 7, the team at Nephron Pharmaceuticals including CEO Lou Kennedy hosted a celebration of National Manufacturing Day at the new Nephron Nitrile Glove Manufacturing facility. Honored guests included U.S. House Majority Whip James Clyburn, National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) President and CEO Jay Timmons, and Manufacturing Institute President Carolyn Lee.

The event – attended by local elementary and high school students – celebrated the future of manufacturing jobs across America, and was staged against the back drop of the Creators Wanted exhibition, a workforce development initiative that tours the country, which Nephron Nitrile has hosted all week.
