New Addition to Award Winning Restoration on King Hotel Hits Major Milestone

CHARLESTON, SC – Miller-Valentine Construction recently “topped out” the steel framework for the expansion to the Restoration on King Hotel. The much anticipated expansion of the new 7-story, 34 room hotel is scheduled to be open in early October.
Upon completion, the Restoration on King Hotel will have 50 rooms that blend Charleston’s historic character with a contemporary style. Featured amenities will be first floor structured parking, retail store, coffee bar, nail bar and spa, fifth floor pool, and seventh floor roof top kitchen, bar and event space with sweeping views of the peninsula and the Charleston harbor. The Restoration on King has won numerous awards and was most recently listed in Forbes Travel Guide as one of the “Most Anticipated Hotel Renovations of 2015”, Voted one of the Top 10 Small Hotels in the United States by Trip Advisor and listed as one of U.S. News & World Report Travel’s 2015 Best Hotels in the USA.
